Tea Party

The other day, Marcus and I did a surprise tea party for Yvonne's birthday. Everything was done very last minute but it all worked out.  We decorated her room with fairy lights and streamers and we also made this giant flower and stuck it on her wall. Needless to say, she was very surprised when she saw what we had done for her. After chatting for a few hours we went to dinner at Samurai. I always get the dinner box and green tea milkshake!

It's been a long and tiring day. Haven't been getting much sleep lately due to my exams. But now that I've finished, I can start getting ready to go traveling! In 5 days I'll be on my way flying to London. I'll be traveling around Europe for about a month. I'm mainly going on a tour but I'll also be doing some solo traveling as well. I can't wait to be roaming around in these foreign cities and looking at the beautiful architecture.

Oh My Lita

I recently got my hands on a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita's in distressed leather. I know they've been out for ages but I just had to have them. I got them as an early birthday present from my besties Marcus and Yvonne and I absolutely LOVE them! They are ridiculously easy to walk in (despite the 5 inch heel) and comfortable too. I'm really tempted to get another pair but I don't know which colour to pick hmmm..

And the love that you give is such a familiar sound

Last week I bought the debut album by Bombay Bicycle Club 'I Use To Have The Blues But I Shook Them Loose'. Ever since then it has been on repeat on my ipod. It's one of those albums where I actually like all the songs. The song above is 'Ghost' and it's one of my favourite songs on the album. I definitely need to buy their most recent album 'Flaws' and I really need to see them live!

Another fave song of mine is Lamplight. Click the link below to check it out.

I have been a fan of Brian Viveros for quite some time now. I find his artwork beautiful and the cigarette hanging from the mouth is just brilliant. I need to get my hands on one of his pieces soon.

Sunday Funday

After the madness that was fashion week, I am now trying to catch up on some homework. It's only been three weeks since uni started but I feel so behind already. It's probably because I just started a new course and I know absolutely nothing. Time to be a nerd and start reading the text books.

I just bought these sunglasses from The Row online. Can't wait till they arrive in the mail!

I have become obsessed with Charlie's mango and orange lemonade. I have now upgraded to the 1.5 litre bottle. So good!

You can lead the way and I will follow you

Josh Beech & The Johns - Follow Your Lead

This is a song from their EP 'She'. I suggest you go and buy it from iTunes. You won't be disappointed.
